Actors renowned in theater and film, those new to the silver screen, and a host of talented singers and dancers will join Steven Spielberg and his crew in bringing a new adaptation of the original, beloved stage musical West Side Story to the cinema for a December 10, 2021 release.

During the 93rd Academy Awards Ceremony the Walt Disney Company released the very first teaser trailer for Academy Award®-winning director Steven Spielberg’s new film adaptation of the musical West Side Story, which will open in U.S. theaters on December 10, 2021. In it Sebastian will be playing Braulio. 

Vanity Fair has released a first look at Steven Spielberg's upcoming movie West Side Story. 

Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story rounded out its casting today, with more than 50 actors, singers and dancers joining the film as the ensemble cast of Sharks and Jets, the rival street gangs at the center of the musical’s timeless love story. These actors, singers and dancers will join previously announced cast members Rita Moreno (Valentina), Ansel Elgort (Tony), Rachel Zegler (Maria), Ariana DeBose (Anita), David Alvarez (Bernardo), Josh Andrés Rivera (Chino), Corey Stoll (Lieutenant Schrank) and Brian d’Arcy James (Sergeant Krupke).

Who is stalking the students of Glenwood High School, and why? The small town of Glenwood is rocked by a strain of unsolved murders which include three of Glenwood High School's very own students. Detectives John Brooks and Victoria Morales are working as fast as they can to hunt down the killer. Written by Jennifer Phillips and directed by Joe Davison this is a thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. 

Sebastian was hard at work filming the new remake of West Side Story directed by Steven Spielberg. Matt Palm of the Orlando Sentinel interviewed him about his experience on set, working with Steven and the journey that took him there.
